The mission of the IPMC is to provide an interdisciplinary, multimodal and holistic care utilizing state of the art scientific modalities and technologies to decrease pain, discontinue opioid use, optimize service member function and overall military readiness; and the vision is to provide prompt, comprehensive, compassionate and efficient care for the Warrior and Warrior’s family.

Our renowned team together has many years working in pain management and working in a collaborative effort to maximize the treatment of pain patients. Currently, the center is staffed with a Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Physician Assistant, Nurses, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Administrative support staff. The providers provide a range of comprehensive services such as radiofrequency ablation, nerve block, spinal cord stimulators, lumbar discography and injections.

The IPMC started an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) on Oct. 1, 2012, which consists of three weeks of both group and individual intensive therapy. The IOP is a unique functional rehabilitation program designed specifically for military men and women who have a strong desire to return to duty and need help overcoming chronic pain. The comprehensive program is based on military structure and discipline, aggressive exercise and reduction of medications. The intent of the IOP is to develop strength, endurance, power, mobility and to reduce the amount of opioid use of the Soldier. The IOP will provide both treatment, training and educational modules. The blocks of treatment will consist of strength training, physical training and aquatic therapy joining with integrative modalities such as chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, and yoga; cognitive behavioral therapy and spiritual therapy. The IOP will also provide family therapy with the Soldier and Spouse; the session will consist of groups and individual sessions with the Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Chaplain.
