Pharmacy Prescription Options

We are pleased to offer our patients several ways to receive their prescriptions. See below for the one that suits you best - 


New Prescriptions  (PREFERRED)
Starting at 8:30 a.m., text “Get In Line” to (877) 443 - 0592 and follow the prompts and select STEP 1 to activate your prescription/s at the Main Outpatient Pharmacy.
Processing times vary and can take 2 business days based on patient volume, additional documentation is required or if medication must be ordered.
Once your prescriptions are ready, you will receive the following text “Prescriptions are ready”

*You do not need to wait in the pharmacy while your medications are being processed.*

Once you arrive to the Pharmacy lobby text ”I am here” and wait for your ticket to be called”
You will receive a text message notification if additional documents are required or medication is out of stock.
If you don’t receive the “Prescriptions Are Ready” text by 6 p.m., your prescription should be ready the next morning. Qflow numbers expire daily, so please text “Get In Line” again at 8 a.m. and follow the prompts to receive your prescriptions.


New Prescriptions 
If you cannot text, call the EAMC Pharmacy at (706) 787- 5811 (option 2, then option 1)                             
Processing times are up to 1-2 business days.
Hours for this option are:
Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed: Weekends, Federal Holidays
The pharmacy phone line is staffed by one person; if the line is busy, please try again at a different time.


New Prescriptions 
Request your new and renewed medications in person by visiting the Kiosk in the Pharmacy Lobby.
Select a STEP 1 ticket at the kiosk.
After 2 business days, you can return to pick up your prescriptions.
Have a paper prescription?
Drop off your prescription at Pharmacy Window 2. Pick up prescription after 5 business days using Options 1-3.


Refill Prescriptions Only
24/7 in the EAMC Pharmacy Lobby

1 Order your Refill Prescriptions by calling the number on your bottle (706) 787-1710
2 Select “ScriptCenter DDEAMC” as your pickup location (Option 1, then Option 2)
3 Pick up refills after 3 duty days
Script center requires you to register the first time so remember to bring your prescription number the FIRST TIME you pick up your medications.


New & Refill Prescriptions

     Include your written prescription and your prescription copayment.
Affordable medication prices:
Here’s what you’ll typically pay for a 90 days supply of a generic medications:
     Home Delivery = $12
     Network Retail Pharmacy = $42
***Active Duty service members always pay $0 for medications***


New and Refill Prescriptions (may have a co-pay with this option)
If you would like to pick up your medications off-post, visit one of the civilian retail pharmacies that are approved by TRICARE.
***Must discuss this option with your care team when the medication is prescribed.***

Our Military Pharmacy Services

Maintenance Drugs

Maintenance drugs are those you take regularly for a chronic condition (i.e., drugs to control blood pressure or cholesterol).All beneficiaries must refill certain maintenance drugs through home delivery or at military pharmacies. This does not apply to Active Duty service members.

Search the List of Maintenance Drugs to see if you have a prescription you should have transferred to be filled here at Eisenhower Army Medical Center or via home delivery.

TRICARE Formulary

The TRICARE Core Formulary is a list of drugs that are available at all full-service military pharmacies. Use our TRICARE Formulary Search Tool. Eisenhower will fill a 90 day supply for most medications listed as uniform formulary. See attached for our frequently stocked medications list.
Active duty service members have a $0 copayment for covered drugs at any pharmacy.

The TRICARE Formulary is a list of generic and brand-name prescription drugs covered by TRICARE. You can search the to:

  • See how much it costs and where you can get it filled
  • See if your prescription needs prior authorization
  • Look up the medical necessity criteria
  • Get the prior authorization and medical necessity forms for your prescription
