Occupational Therapy
The Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Occupational Therapy Service conducts therapeutic programming for patients with orthopedic and psychological conditions that interfere with the person’s ability to be independent in their activities of daily living. The goal of occupational therapy is to help patients gain independence and restore function through purposeful activity. Occupational Therapists work with patient in the outpatient and inpatient care settings. Patient must have a referral from a primary care manager or specialist to be evaluated by an Occupational Therapist.
