The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Occupational Therapy

The Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Occupational Therapy Service conducts therapeutic programming for patients with orthopedic and psychological conditions that interfere with the person’s ability to be independent in their activities of  daily living. The goal of occupational therapy is to help patients gain independence and restore function through purposeful activity. Occupational Therapists work with patient in the outpatient and inpatient care settings. Patient must have a referral from a primary care manager or specialist to be evaluated by an Occupational Therapist.
