The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Soldier/Patient-Centered Medical Homes

Eisenhower Army Medical Homes are based on a Soldier and Patient-Centered Medical Home (SCMH/PCMH) model that has been adopted across Army Medicine and many civilian healthcare systems.

The patient-centered, team-based and holistic concept allows us to provide you and your Family more personalized care with multiple ways to access your care team. From office visits and walk-in services to telephone consults (TCON) and secure messaging, you and your Family have even more ways to get the care you need.

This model is based on the belief that your well-being should always be at the center of every decision about your health. With this new approach, you, the patient will receive more personalized and coordinated care, supported by an entire team to maximize overall wellness. You no longer have just a primary care provider but an entire primary care team!

Contact your primary care team by sending a Secure Message anytime it is convenient for you from your computer, tablet, or smartphone via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. To request appointments, Soldiers and Family members may also contact our Call Center at 706-787-7300.

Don’t forget to keep your family’s information up to date in DEERS!
