Dental Education Office
Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, is the home of the Army's advanced dental education in graduate Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) programs. With the exception of OMS, all are co-located at Tingay Dental Clinic on Fort Eisenhower. The OFMS program is located in nearby Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC). The co-location of the programs at Tingay Dental Clinic and nearby DDEAMC informally developed from the continuously evolving educational mission of the Fort Eisenhower Dental Activity. Today, the Graduate Dental Education Programs located at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, represents the largest dental specialty training organization in the Army.
All four programs are fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation of the American Dental Association and the programs' graduates are recognized as qualified to challenge the American Board examination in their respective specialty.
